Data deletion
You can remove BIOS's access to any connected platform, or delete your whole account, at any time. Here is exactly what happens.
Disconnect one platform
- Open BIOS on any device and go to Settings → Connections.
- Choose the platform (Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Google Ads, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, or Slack) and tap Disconnect.
Immediately, BIOS deletes the platform's token and revokes its authorization where the platform supports it. Within 30 days, we delete the data BIOS read from that platform. Actions already taken on the platform (for example a campaign draft you approved) stay where they are, because they live in your platform account, not in BIOS.
Remove BIOS from the platform's side
- Meta: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → BIOS → Remove. This revokes BIOS's token; BIOS then deletes the related data within 30 days.
- Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions → BIOS → Remove access.
- Shopify: Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → BIOS → Uninstall.
- Klaviyo: Klaviyo → Integrations → BIOS → Remove.
- Slack: Slack → Settings & administration → Manage apps → BIOS → Remove.
- Microsoft: myapps.microsoft.com → BIOS → Revoke.
Delete your account
In the app: open BIOS and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. BIOS asks you to confirm and names what will go.
- Your account. Your sign-in ends on every device, your devices stop getting notifications, your Apple ID link is removed, and you can no longer sign in. Your name stays on decisions you already made, so your team's history stays accurate.
- If you are the only owner, your company is deleted with your account: BIOS first revokes its tokens with every connected platform, then deletes all of the company's data, including its team, connections, projects, messages, history and AI consent records. This happens when you confirm, not later.
By email: write to sutton@helionhq.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my BIOS account", and we will do the same for you within 3 business days.
Backups that contain your data expire within 30 days. Server logs are kept for 30 days and contain no platform data.
If you only want a copy of your data first, ask in the same email and we will send an export before deleting.
